How do I find the right experiences for me?

Once you’re on the website, scroll down to the section titled ‘Lyft local offers.’ From here, you can use the drop-down menus to browse locations by neighborhood and by days of the week like ‘Tuesday’ to find the perfect experience for you.

Do these experiences expire?

If the offer is on the website, it is valid. There is no set expiration date, but over time offers will disappear and be replaced with new ones. If you show a promo code in your app that no longer exists online, it is up to the establishment to decide whether or not it can still be redeemed. Keep checking frequently for the latest offers.

In the Lyft app:
How do I redeem offers I find on this website?

Redeeming local offers is simple. Follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Open the Lyft app and tap the menu icon in the top left corner (three small horizontal lines)
Step 2: Tap ‘Promos’ and enter any offer promo code – example: MHSBOGO
Step 3: Order a ride to the establishment to redeem your offer

Can I use more than one code?

Yes! Simply continue adding the codes into your promos section and riding to the specified establishments to redeem multiple offers.

At the establishment:
How do I redeem the offer once I am at the establishment?

You’ve completed steps 1, 2 and 3 in the app, you are ready to receive your offer. When you arrive, mention Lyft’s offer to your direct point of contact (e.g. server, host, bartender, cashier, etc) and be prepared to show the following two things on the Lyft app on your phone:

  • Promos section with the establishment name / offer code
  • Ride receipt indicating you took a ride to their establishment that day

Note: Ride receipts are found under ‘Ride History’

Is there a time limit for my ride receipt to be valid for the promo?

Same-day ride receipts will be accepted at all establishments. We understand that when you take a ride to certain area or neighborhood, you may stop by a different establishment first. That is totally fine.

I took a ride to an establishment and my server has never heard of the offer. Is there anything I can do?

If the offer is on our website, it is valid. But remember, Denver bars, restaurants and venues are growing fast and there can be staff changes and so the person helping you may not have heard of the offer at their establishment. Ask very nicely for that employee to ask around about the Lyft local offer and someone else should be able to help.

The establishment won’t let me redeem my offer because it’s Happy Hour.

Lyft local offers cannot be combined with other offers. Please respect the establishment’s right to say no or be the final decision maker in what they will offer.

Do I need to tip on my offer?

We kindly ask that you respect your servers, bartenders and cashiers by tipping on whatever your total would have been before the discount or offer.

If I don’t drink or eat what’s listed on the offer, can I receive something other than what is listed?

That is entirely up to the establishment. Please honor the establishment’s right to say no and be the final decision maker in what they will offer.


Please remember that safety is our first priority. If you have forgotten your ID, had one too many, the bar is overcrowded, or a pre-existing offer is available, the establishment holds the right to deny the redemption of an offer.

I applied the code in my promos section and it didn’t work. What should I do?

Make sure location services are turned on. If you are getting an error when you try to apply the code in the ‘Promos’ section of your Lyft app, it is often due to the fact that the Lyft app cannot tell you are in the Denver Metro region. All of our codes are built to work in the Denver Metro region, so turning location services on should be a quick fix.

What is a Ticket Giveaway?

A chance to win tickets to some of the most amazing events around Denver. The more you ride, the more you can win. Just enter the promo code for the experience of your choosing and start riding!

How do I become eligible to win Ticket Giveaways?

These experiences work similar to an offer, with the exception that you will have to take 3 rides within a one week period to be entered in the drawing.

Follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Open the Lyft app and tap the menu icon in the top left corner (three small horizontal lines)
Step 2: Tap ‘Promos’ and enter in the Experience code
Step 3: Take 3 Lyft rides during the eligibility period

What is the entry period to be eligible to win weekly experiences?

New experience codes will be released on periodically depending on events. Click on the ticket tile for specific details on timing.

When will I be notified if I win a ticketed experience?

Ticket drawings will be pulled on the date stated on the event tile. We will contact you directly if you are a winner via email (the email associated with your Lyft account). If you do not respond within 8 hours of receiving the email, we will select another winner.
